On October 2nd, RiverRocks, along with Boy Scouts of America, bring back Over the Edge, Presented by SunTrust Bank, an afternoon of watching media from the Chattanooga area (and some brave sponsors) taking the chance to rappel 20 stories from the top of the Chattanooga SunTrust Building, one of Chattanooga's tallest buildings. YOU are invited to take come join the fun and cheer on the brave souls who take the challenge!
Over the Edge, has been conducted all across North America since 2003 and its team of professionals teach and guide rappelers and will ensure their perfect safety record remains intact. Over the Edge is for anyone - those who have never climber before to experienced rappelers, and has included people aged 18 to 86. Even CEOs and official mascots have been part of the fun.
Of course, the best part about the whole event is that the funds raised will go directly towards charitable endeavors, helping local Boy Scouts of America programs and RiverRocks in equal parts.
The Chattanooga SunTrust Building, owned and operated by the Simpson Organization, is the perfect place to experience this unique adventure during RiverRocks. Join the crowd for great food from the Food Truck Court at Center Park and sit for a while in the city's newest park as you enjoy the fun. Support from Chattanooga Jaguar, Porsche, Land Rover, WRCB TV Channel 3, the Times Free Press and Clear Channel Media is allowing this event to happen.
You can be an Edger too the following day. Brave souls wishing to go Over the Edge will make a gift or commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 (with incentive packages at the $1,500 and $2,000 level) in order to show their family, friends and business associates how simple it is to rappel 20 stories! Start saving your money and challenge all your friends to contribute to this great cause while experiencing the adventure of a lifetime.

Not strictly a part of RiverRocks, the 3 Sisters Music Festival celebrates world class bluegrass in Chattanooga for FREE! This year's Friday lineup includes Dismembered Tennesseans and several headliner acts.
Previous years have s include Yonder Mountain String Band, Solas, Emmitt-Nershi Band, Hot Rize and the Travelin' McCourys. Food and beverage concessions and a wonderful weekend of music on the river at Ross' Landing.
This vendor fair brings all the top merchandise to town in anticipation of StumpJump.
